About Us

Excelta Corporation is a family owned business that imports tweezers, pliers, cutters, and other small assembly type items from our factories in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Pakistan and India. We also have several plants here in the United States that provide us products. We have been in business for 50 years.

Excelta began by introducing watchmaker tools to the Aerospace industry in the mid 1950's. Our largest customers were Rockwell, Hughes Aircraft, Texas Instruments, Raytheon, etc. As that industry folded in on itself in the mid 1980's we made a successful transition into the commercial markets. Our largest customers became Intel, Agilent, IBM and Hewlett Packard. In the last decade we have been providing assembly tools to the large contract manufacturers like Solectron, Celestica, Flextronics and SCI. We are once again transitioning, from the low cost, high volume electronic manufacturing that is moving offshore, to the Medical Device manufacturing arena. Excelta has always prided itself on staying one step ahead and being prepared to provide the quality needed for the manufacturing of tomorrow.

Our product offering has evolved from simple chain nose pliers and a few tweezers to over 1,000 items. We carry an extensive inventory at our world headquarters in Buellton, California and operate a custom design and manufacturing shop at this location. We specialize in one of a kind tools built to customer’s specifications. We have always maintained a position of the highest quality and innovative solutions.
